Indications

For Caries Detection: Apply the caries indicator to the suspected carious area. Rinse with an air-water spray. The indicator stains carious dentin, aiding in cavity preparation.
For Locating Root Canal Orifices: After completing access cavity preparation and fully exposing the roof of the pulp chamber, carefully remove the coronal pulp tissue. Apply the caries indicator to the floor of the pulp chamber. Rinse with saline solution, then dry with an air syringe. Areas exhibiting deeper staining are typically root canal orifices or developmental grooves.
