EDTA Root Canal Lubricating Gel Provides excellent lubrication, protects and extends the lifespan of instruments, significantly reduces canal preparation time, is easy to rinse, reduces post-preparation pain, and improves the healing rate of root canal treatment.
Product Uses:
- Used for lubrication during root canal preparation, assisting instruments in enlarging the canal.
- Exhibits strong antibacterial activity, providing antimicrobial and bacteriostatic effects.
- Clears ionic compounds through chemical reactions, effectively removing smear layers that sodium hypochlorite cannot eliminate, resulting in a clean canal wall after debridement.
- Acts as a calcium chelator, decalcifying and softening the canal for easier preparation before obturation.

Instructions for Use

Use an EDTA gel syringe to place a small amount of gel inside the root canal or at the orifice to soften the canal walls. Then, carefully insert an appropriate file or drill to enlarge the canal.
During canal preparation, a small amount of EDTA can be coated on the surface of the file or drill to better protect the instrument, lubricate the canal walls, remove debris, and clean dentinal chips.
After cleaning and decalcification, rinse thoroughly with a sodium hypochlorite solution (no more than 1%) and physiological saline. Once dried, the canal is ready for obturation.
